Lisa’s yoga and spiritual journey started at an early age. Her grandmother was a Buddhist and spent her early years in Burma. She was one of the first Hatha yoga teachers in Adelaide, South Australia in the 1950’s and her physical strength, health & philosophy made a big impact on Lisa. Lisa first began her real love of yoga when she studied Ashtanga yoga and has developed her own style the last 30 years. Lisas classes are inclusive with strength and balancing challenges. She believes It’s not about perfection as that’s simply not real life. It’s about love and kindness & being open. Lisa has had plenty of ups and downs and in the crazy times in her life, yoga was the one thing that she clung to and helped her to find joy even in the hardest times. She is passionate about sharing what she believes. She understands it may feel intimidating the first time coming to yoga but her fun, authentic, warm and inviting approach makes you feel immediately comfortable and at ease to be yourself. She hopes your will end up loving yoga for life just as she does.
